SOHO COFFEE CO. AND THE GOLDEN JUBILEE FOOTBRIDGE | LONDON, UK

BUT FIRST, COFFEE

Starting the day on a good note always includes coffee. A group of friends and I stopped at this wonderful coffee shop called Soho Coffee Co. They have lots of drink options, including a variety of tea, coffee, decadent treats, juice, etc. For food, there are many breakfast and lunch options. I went for a latte and a triple bacon egg sandwich (not low cal but who’s counting). I will definitely be back there soon.

THE LONDON EYE

What’s a trip to London without at least seeing the London Eye? The ride is currently closed to maintenance but will reopen at the end of January (2019). We admired it from afar. A very popular vantage point of the London Eye is from The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Bridges. The easiest way to get here is to take the Tube to Embankment, or you can get off at Westminster to see Big Ben and the Westminster Bridge. Then you can walk through the Whitehall Gardens and over to Northumberland Ave. You can access the Golden Jubilee Bridge there. There are technically two “Queens” Golden Jubilee Bridges, one on either side of the Hungerford Railway Bridge.
