EXPLORING GAUDI’S PARK GÜELL | BARCELONA, SPAIN

Gaudi is arguably one of the most famous architects in the world. Commonly known for his work on La Sagrada Familia, Gaudi was also commissioned to design a public park in the heart of Barcelona. In 1900, Park Güell was born. The park was named after  Eusebi Güell, a famous entrepreneur who supplied the funding to Gaudi to design the park. The entirety of the park is roughly 45 acres, so there’s lots to explore. The most famous part of the park is the colorful seating area that faces the ocean. I’m sure you’ve seen pictures of it before. Speaking of pictures, here’s a photographic tour of the park.
