MY FAVORITE THINGS FROM 3 DAYS IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
It was my first time visiting Sydney, and as someone who isn’t a city person, 3 days felt like the perfect amount of time. Here are my three favorite things from my stay.
1.lazy brunch with lots of coffee
Yes, you can eat brunch and drink lots of coffee anywhere. But the Australians know how to do brunch! My favorite cafe was Single O in Surry Hills. The iced mochas were hitting right, the potatoes (which they call chats??) were delish, and the overall vibes were friendly, cool, and casual.
2.A RUN AROUND THE ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS
Lots of cities have botanical gardens, and I think it’s a great place to visit while you travel. Right off the plane and in need of some exercise (and uncurling from 21 hours of flying), we headed straight for the park. There are great views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, along with loads of tropical plants.
3.MANLY NATURE WALK
There are many places around Sydney that are reachable by ferry. It’s cheap, easy, timely, AND scenic. :) We went to Manly and did a nature walk to a private cove. I have a separate post all about it here.
As always, thanks for reading. If you’ve been to Sydney, comment your recommendations below.
Cheers,
