EXPLORING GREENWICH VILLAGE | NYC
Hello! I hope everyone is staying safe during this weird time. I hope this post brings some distraction and light to your day.
Back in February, I visited NYC and walked around the Greenwich Village/West Village area. Although some of these photos were taken in the Hudson Square/Soho area as well, it was all in walking distance so I figured I’d include it in this post!
This area is one of my favorite parts of the city because it’s less touristy, a bit more upper class, and way less crowded than downtown. There are so many amazing shops, restaurants, and cafes in this area. It’s a great place to hang out on a sunny day.
After walking the High Line, we took the stairs down to street level and started walking towards my favorite bakery, Dominque Ansel. The walk was lovely, as the sun was shining and the temperature was mild.
There are so many great photo opportunities in this area, and many little sights to see.
I quickly went into Dominque Ansel Kitchen to grab my favorite treats, the Cannelés de Bordeaux.
I had to stop at the Friends Apartment because I’m a big fan of the show!
Before we headed back downtown, we had to stop at my boyfriend’s favorite pizza place, John’s of Bleeker St. It was so delicious and we got there at the perfect time! Right as we sat down, a long line started to form outside. We tried the classic cheese pizza, and then understand all the hype.
I hope you all have a wonderful day, whenever you read this.
Until next time,
Katherine
