WHAT TO SEE IN MARYLEBONE, LONDON
If you’re planning on visiting London, Marylebone is a wonderful place to stay. It’s central, quieter than other areas of London, and very picturesque (although most of London is anyways). With the Baker Street tube stop as your home station, it’s easy to get to popular boroughs inside and out of the city. On days when you don’t want to wander too far from your hotel, there’s many shops and restaurants to visit.
What to do
Walk around Regent Park
Shop on Marylebone High Street
Grab coffee and a pastry at a local coffee shop
Visit Daunt Books
Explore corners of the neighborhood
What’s close?
Baker Street has lines like the Jubilee and Bakerloo which connect to a lot of popular tube stations like Oxford Circus and Piccadilly. If you’re looking to access the major shopping area of Regent and Oxford Street, it’ll only take about 15 minutes by tube (with walking time).
And definitely visit Liberty of London…it’s a classic.
If you’re looking to venture out of London and visit cities like Oxford, Cambridge, or Bath, the Paddington Train Station is about a 20 minute walk from central Marylebone.
Marylebone is my favorite part of London (as of now). If you visit, drop a comment and let me know your favorite part!
