NAARDEN, NETHERLANDS

Naarden is the CUTEST town in the suburbs of Amsterdam. It’s about a 30 minute drive (without traffic) from the city center, and is the perfect picturesque Dutch village. Naarden is renowned for its well-preserved star fort, a unique architectural feature dating back to the 17th century. Look at the star shape on Google Maps!

Located in North Holland, Naarden has charming cobbled streets, scenic canals, and vibrant green spaces. The town's historic center, with its distinctive moated layout, offers a glimpse into the Netherlands' military history and architectural heritage.

We stumbled upon this town leaving Amsterdam in search of a nice spot for lunch (and girly pops did we find one). The weather was perfect and sitting out on the patio with views of the picturesque streets was a dream.

Here’s my cutie fam enjoying our lunch. :)

We ate at Kweek Foodbar, highly recommend. Below are some pictures from Naarden. Isn’t it perfect?! I want to go back right away.
