ENJOYING MONTISI, TUSCANY

On our first full day in Montisi, we spent most of the day by the pool recovering from a long day and a half of travel.  Being here with family is always full of laughs and adventures (especially the unexpected ones…).  My aunt has lived in Italy for many years and we’ve enjoyed coming back to visit the classic Italian village of Montisi.  One of our favorite spots is a pizzeria in town called Ritorno di Fiamma.  It’s only open seasonally and has some of the best gnocchi I’ve ever had! The pizza is delicious and the view from the terrace never fails to please.  The night ended with a stunning Tuscan sunset and a few bottles of wine.
