EATING MY WAY THROUGH EDINBURGH | SCOTLAND
If you don’t like stuffing your face with food, then this blog post isn’t for you! This post contains great Edinburgh food recommendations that won’t disappoint!
BRUNCH
Who doesn’t love a good brunch? I headed to The Ivy on the Square to start the day off right.
Or perhaps some tea if that suits your fancy.
MASH TIME.
Once you’ve been stuffed by brunch, explore some more of the city. Feeling hungry again? Let’s head to Makars Gourmet Mash Bar. That’s right, mashed potato mecca.
You can’t leave the UK without trying some cider.
This is chicken with rösti. If you don’t know what rösti is, you should probably book a trip overseas and try some:)
This is a dish that my friend got. Not sure what the meat was but DANG are those mashed potatoes yummy looking.
I’ve saved the best for last. Finish off the meal with vanilla ice cream topped with Baileys and chocolate chips. YUM.
Remember to leave reviews on Trip Advisor after visiting restaurants when you travel. It not only helps other visitiors figure out the best places to eat but benefits the restaurants too!
Happy eating!
