The Two Best Beaches in Milos, Greece

If you’ve never been to the Greek island of Milos and want to visit, you NEED to work these two beaches into your itinerary. The beaches on Milos are so unique because of their rock composition, volcanic rock. If you’re one to lay in the sand, there is little space to do so on these beaches so you’ll have to get there early to claim your spot! I loved the unique photos, jumping spots, and little swimming holes that these beaches provided. Here are my two favorite beaches in Milos!

1. PAPAFRAGAS BEACH AND CAVES

This beach has a tiny little parking lot but AMAZING places to swim. I also saw some kayakers entering the ocean here.

There’s this picturesque little swimming hole that looked very inviting!

We visited Milos in April which was perfect for photography because no one was there! These beaches are packed during the summer.

2. SARAKINIKO BEACH

Sarakiniko Beach is crazy beautiful. It’s a much bigger beach compared to Papafragas. There are many lookout points that are fun to explore and if you’re into sunbathing, many places to do that as well. If there’s any place on the island that shows off the volcanic rock, it’s this beach. It looks like the moon!
